Sinohydro Jiajiang Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JHMC") was founded in 1966. It is a specialized manufacturer engaged in various hoisting and gate operating equipment, super-large metal structures and major mechanical equipment. The company holds independent import and export rights, and is recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise, a Specialized-Refined-Unique- Innovative Enterprise, one of the Top 50 Machinery Enterprises in Sichuan Province, and a core equipment manufacturing subsidiary of PowerChina Group. It is affiliated to Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd.

Adhering to the development strategies of industrial integration, diversified product portfolio and internationalized business layout, JHMC has built a full-industry-chain business model covering R&D and design, manufacturing and installation, technical services, as well as maintenance. It has fostered a coordinated development framework featuring three major business segments: traditional business, non-traditional business and international engineering. The company operates professional manufacturing bases at home and abroad including Jiajiang base in Sichuan province, Nyingchi base in Tibet province and Vung Tau branch in Vietnam, equipped with more than 1,200 sets of professional production and testing equipment, with an annual capacity to manufacture and install over 200,000 tons of metal structures. It has supplied more than 6,000 sets of equipment to over 300 domestic hydropower stations, and successfully fabricated multiple super-large specialized equipment for the Three Gorges Project, Xiluodu Hydropower Station and Baihetan Hydropower Station, earning a solid reputation across the industry. It has also achieved outstanding results in metro facilities, municipal steel structures, pumped storage, wind power, photovoltaic power and other sectors. The company has delivered high-quality manufacturing and installation works for projects including the Muskrat Falls Project in Canada, Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Station in Pakistan, Xepian & Xenamony Hydropower Station in Laos, and wind tower projects in Vietnam.
