CRRC Ziyang Co., Ltd. was established in 1966 and has grown into an enterprise specializing in diesel and electric locomotives, integrating manufacturing with maintenance while offering diverse models and comprehensive solutions. The Company is dedicated to becoming a core manufacturer of specialized rail transit equipment and a key player in advanced rail transit supply chains. Its products serve National mainline railways, urban rail transit, regional (joint venture) railways, as well as industries such as metallurgy, power generation, petrochemicals, mining, ports, and logistics.

CRRC Ziyang has launched a new-generation AC traction diesel locomotive platform, covering models such as AC20, AC30, AC40 and AC50, with power ranging from 2,000 hp to 5,000 hp. This series adopts advanced intermediate common DC-link control technology. Its AC traction performance is internationally competitive, delivering outstanding performance especially under heavy-haul operation and complex gradient conditions.
